Maths tuition

"The only way to learn mathematics, is to do mathematics."

Paul Halmos.

National Curriculum 2014

At Little Learners Education we have learning programs in place to support our pupils in becoming fluent in the fundamentals of mathematics.  We offer varied and frequent practice with increasingly complex problems over time, so that our pupils develop conceptual understanding and the ability to recall and apply knowledge rapidly and accurately.  We support our pupils to develop the appropriate vocabulary to be able to reason mathematically by following a line of enquiry.

We have been busy producing a Rapid Recall Multiplication/Division Timetables Workbook for use in our tuition sessions.

The activity based sessions reinforce an understanding of multiplication and division with increasingly challenging exercises.
