About us

Mrs Michelle Roe (BA HONS, QTS)

Michelle is a fully qualified teacher who has taught in primary schools for over 17 years and has led several curriculum areas including Foundation Stage Manager, EAL Lead, Music, Science, Literacy, Healthy Schools, Assessment and SENDCo.  She now works  for the local authority as a teacher in a more advisory role.

In 2015, Michelle started 'Little Learners Education''.

Through this, she privately delivers group tuition for pupils ages 5-11 years old in the local area.

Michelle wants all pupils to enjoy their learning at Little Learners Education and she achieves this by planning enjoyable, exciting and challenging activities to match the learning needs of individual pupils.

Little Learners Education sessions are based on the National Curriculum.  They provide a variety of structured and inclusive activities which allow all children to develop a wide range of skills, knowledge, understanding and experiences to enable everyone to reach their full potential both academically and socially.  The tuition sessions build on and compliment any learning that has already taken place either in a school classroom environment or through home education.

Specialist learning plans can be put into place to support children of all needs, including those with dyslexia, autism and other SEND issues.  Children with English as an additional language can also be supported to ensure all learners meet their full potential.

In the group tuition sessions, Michelle promotes independent thinking and learning strategies to encourage pupils to reflect on their own learning journey and develop the confidence to strive for personal academic goals and aspirations.  Most importantly she wants to offer pupils' the chance to develop the learning tools needed to develop a life-long love of learning to unlock their full academic potential.
